When a presentation plays as a movie, each slide appears for a uniform amount of time unless you set individual timings, or record the slide show to establish timing for the entire presentation. For more information about setting slide timings, see Rehearse and set slide timings.
2 Years On Movie Download In Mp4
I believe your Stream video will download as a .webm file type only when the Stream video hasn't finished 'rendering' or processing on page. Once this process has been completed, the video will download as an .mp4 format.
@Anonymouse I don't know about your reply if it is rendering or processing, but I noticed that for every video that I make any edit (trim, add a thumbnail, or rename) Stream then switches over to making it able to download as an MP4. Similar to the comment by @Jerry Xu Is that what the deal is? Make any edit to get it to download as an MP4. That is a dumb microsoft glitch. Most everybody I know wants it in the more compatable MP4 format.
Per my test, all the videos are created as webm files so I am not sure about your question one. And for your question 2, have a try to trim a part of that video like 2 seconds within microsoft stream and then try to download it again. This time it downloads in mp4 format. Checking this again after your comment @Kerr, Cecile , I find that from the Stream UI, for a video I recorded in Teams, I can click the three dots by the "copy to" button, and download and for me the video does now download as mp4
To understand this method, first you need to know that media file formats are just containers (for example, MKV is Matroska). Each format encapsulates a set of streams, usually one video and one audio stream. Now, each stream is encoded using some specific codec. There may be various codecs used, but for the file I needed to convert, Media Player Classic (my favorite movie player, installed with K-Lite Codec Pack) shows following information after selecting File > Properties:
MPEG4 Video is the same codec that may be used with MP4 file format! It means we could convert ("repack") the file to just different container format, rewriting streams as-is without actually converting video or audio - which should be very fast (converting a long movie takes only few seconds) and wouldn't cause any quality loss.
Downloading videos can be a great way to share and distribute content that you want others to see. Whether you want to use a video as a learning tool for your team or download an informative video to embed on your website, the use cases of downloading videos are countless.
Step 2: When prompted with a menu of downloading options, choose the version of the video that you want to download. The options, depending on what the video creator has allowed, are SD 240p, SD 360p, SD 540p, HD 720p, HD 1080, and the original video.
All in all, Vimeo works hard to ensure that content creators have the maximum amount of control over their own videos. In creating customizable privacy, download, and sharing settings, the fate of a video lies in the hands of the creator.
Although iTunes Movies app is replaced by the Apple TV app after macOS Catalina, it still holds every video you bought or rented on Windows OS or previous macOS. However, Apple locks down the media content with DRM and does not let you play iTunes movies on other operating systems. To watch such a video on your non-Apple TV, tablet, and smartphone, or make a DVD copy, converting iTunes movies to MP4 is taken as the most effective method.
Apple employs M4V to contain videos files that are rented or purchased from the iTunes movie store with DRM restrictions. So how to convert iTunes Movies to MP4 involves M4V to MP4 conversion and DRM removal.

Why force to download something which has a worse image quality and larger size? Also, YouTube has long stopped encoding >=4K videos into AVC/H.264 and they are now provided using VP9/AV1 codecs exclusively:

Download the videos by using the existing /output/filename.zip?download=zip hack that is to append this to the URL. But this results in a zip file full of 17 (or more) harsh .flv and .xml files containing separated audio and video. I searched for a tool to convert those back to the regular video, and I haven't found anything useful. I found that those annoying and harsh files are the same than the ones that are already downloaded in the browser's cache for the playback.
Ask every professor to unlock the mp4 download such as enabling the possibility of using /output/filename.mp4?download=mp4 with download=mp4 rather than a harsh zip file. But I fear that this would require them to allow their video to be publicly accessible by anyone in their admin settings, so I'm not sure this is an option for them.
